Sooo I had a blast last night with my co-workers during the Atlanta stop of Wale‘s Heineken Red Star Access tour.
I got a chance to chat with Mr. Folarin before he hit the stage and we spoke on a number of topics including his Eleven One Eleven mixtape, his Ambition album and movement and his love for giving back.
The last time I interviewed Wale he was on tour with J. Cole and it was right before his birthday.
Instead of asking for gifts, he asked for people to donate to Africa through a charitable clean water campaign.
I asked my fellow Virgo if he planned on doing anything like that this year especially considering the famine in Somalia and later asked him if he planned on doing anymore poetry that I know some ladies love.
All in all I think the event went well, Wale was cool on the red carpet…he later brought out Two Chainz and of course Pill who gave an amped up performance of “Pacman.”
